Hinderofen Cafe in Wangen im Allgau

Very good café-restaurant in the middle of Wangen. Location: Right on the market square you can enjoy and look outside with a view of the town hall and St. Martin - a great place. In addition to the great location, it is also comfortably furnished inside. I experienced the service very friendly and super fast on a Sunday lunchtime. The range of dishes is huge: breakfast, salads, some main dishes, ice cream, cakes, tarte flambée. I would be happy to recommend what I have eaten and drunk: The Flammkuchen Rustikal was delicious; In addition there was the homemade lemonade, the ginger spritzer - very tasty as a soft drink.

Prompt, nice service and the apple strudel was okay. The mug of coffee seemed a bit expensive to us !?

Nice friendly service, food ok. But what doesn’t work in Corona times: one waitress wears the mask under her nose, another on her chin. The tables are too narrow for my eyesight. Our data was not recorded.

2 mint leaves actually got lost in my ginger splash.

After a few weeks ago we ate incredibly delicious krautkrapfen there, I went to eat there with my daughter and ate the most terrible cheese sparrows in my life - without any taste and with such mushy onions that it was almost an onion soup. The staff was friendly but that doesn't make it tastier.

Cool cafe

The staff is awesome. There are nice conversations here. I'm there for the buffet today on Saturday. The pretzels are slightly hard, as if they were from yesterday. The Kaba is made with water. There are only a few varieties of drinking chocolate, none of them special (but that's not a bad thing). If something is missing, you can go to the staff, who will take care of it politely and courteously. There are 3 different juices, still still water, but the glasses for it are very small. There are vegetable sticks and herbal dip. Today there are lettuce, cucumber and carrot on the vegetables. Apparently there was also tomato, but I didn't get any of it. There are 6 different types of bread (including pretzel). 3 of them are really tasty, the rest I have not tried. The selection is really great for the price. Quiet nice atmosphere inside a hint of train station, but not bad at all. You can also sit outside. Special feature: you can make waffles here. It's hell going on Saturday and outside, but still we won't forget in here.

Pleasant place to stay. The dishes are generous and of high quality. The service was friendly and the ambience was well-kept.

We love the "Mirabel Strudel".
